KINGISEPP AMMONIA PRODUCTION PLANT
PROJECT The Kingisepp Ammonia Production Plant, a major facility near St. Petersburg, Russia, boasts a capacity of 2,700 tons per day, significantly boosting EuroChem's production capabilities and contributing to the local economy.The Kingisepp ammonia production plant, delivered on a Lump Sum Turn-Key basis, including utilities and offsites, uses technology developed by KBR. It is located about 130 kilometers from St. Petersburg and is executed for EuroChem, one of the most important producers of fertilizers in the world.
With a production capacity of 2,700 tons per day, the plant is one of the most important in the European area.
As a sign of closeness to the local population, Maire Tecnimont Group sponsored the construction of the Orthodox Church in the village of Kingiseppskiy together with EuroChem, thus contributing to the creation of a community center for worship and aggregation.
The Kingisepp is one of the biggest amonia operating plants in the world.
