Tecnimont has officially commenced work on a contract for a polyethylene plant within the new polymers complex in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. This project, a joint venture between QatarEnergy and Chevron Phillips Chemical, involves constructing two polyethylene units with impressive capacities of 1,000,000 tons per year and 680,000 tons per year, respectively.
